Responsible for planning, managing and implementing the HRO workflow and business processes related to benefits including but not limited to Plan Eligibility, Fulfillment, Enrollment, Billing, Funding, Reconciliation, COBRA, HSA and FSA administration; and third party vendor administration related thereof. Current BPO staff reporting to this individual (Billing and Reconciliation/Eligibility/ Enrollment and COBRA) = 8
Key responsibilities:
- Senior level knowledge of qualified and nonqualified benefits design, research, and administration (benefits plan design, eligibility, and operations standards and funding)
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance (benefit laws and regulations), including, but not limited to ERISA, COBRA and HIPPA
- Knowledge and application of short- and long-term budget, planning, organization, and human resources leadership disciplines
- Strong business acumen and time management skills. Able to maintain control over interruptions and maximize time effectiveness
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong supervisory, coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong project management/organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge and applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences

Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, MBA desired
- 5-7 years of progressive HR/benefits administration experience
- 3-5 working in a complex HRIS environment
- 3-5 years previous project management, managerial or supervisory assignments
- Recognized certifications and training for assigned areas of expertise. PHR or benefits certification, CEBS designation desired
- Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
