InterFusion Technology is seeking multiple Test Engineers for our client in South Florida. IFT would like to represent qualified candidates that are prepared to engage in a fast pace, cutting edge environment.
SUMMARY
Responsible for
focusing on our clients manual and automated testing efforts of various applications and platforms
by
performing the following duties.
The technologies to be load tested consist of Web based applications in HTML, PHP, Linux, Apache and MySQL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:

Develops and implements Test Plans that will address the testing needs of functional,
regression, integration and system testing.

rites and maintains manual test cases and automation test scripts.

Implements software quality assurance standards and processes.

Maintains the quality and overall integrity of the test data.

Participates in design reviews/walkthroughs for projects.
-
Participates in the technical specification process to ensure resulting specifications are c
omplete, testable and address the project requirements.

Executes manual and automated testing on our LAMP environment.

Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
-
Creates defects when issues are uncovered.

Writes, implements and reports status for all test efforts.

Meets the QA Departments mission, goals, strategy and objectives.

Other duties that are within education and experience or the incumbent may be assigned
for the betterment of the company.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
-
Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies for a software testing
environment.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-
3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing
-
Speaks fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skill.
-
Works well in a team environment and alone.
-
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Scripting and programming skills (with emphasis on PHP, VBScript, SQL)

Understanding of software architecture technologies (e.g. Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP), HTML, web)
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multi-task on more than one project at a time.
-
Understands functional specifications.
-
Ability to effectively articulate technical issues to testers, developers, and managers.
-
Experience in web-based software testing process and procedures.
-
Experience in all Test Phases (smoke, functional, regression, integration, system,
performance, load,
stress).

Must possess strong experience with Test Tools (e.g. Mercury Interactive Quality Center/
TestDirector, Quick Test Pro, WinRunner, LoadRunner etc).

Familiar with SDLC, test phases, quality standards, practices and test methodologies.

Performs a variety of tasks.

May lead and direct the work of others.
-
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Pluses:
-
Mercury Certification (CPC, CPS, CI).
-
Experience with QuickTest Pro and the Quality Center.

Familiar with web and email marketing and online advertisements terminologies (CPC, CPA, CPI, CPS, CPM, mail lists, Banners, cubes, affiliatesetc).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent; and minimum of 3+
years in software testing of web applications and server-side environment experience.
